#5. Sleeping In
Ahhh, sleep. Pretty much a thing of the past since I've had kids. Back in the day I would stay up until 2am and sleep until noon. Now if by some miracle I sleep past 9am I'm waking up to check if the kids are still breathing!
Hayden slept in until recently, now he's decided he wants to be an early bird. He doesn't get that from Brian or me. Quinn wakes up like clockwork at 8am.
Saturday mornings Brian and I argue about who takes the kids out of the room and who gets to sleep a little more. I suppose the fair thing would be for BOTH of us to get up. But who's thinking about fair when they just want an hour more of sleep? I pretty much always win. I'm Italian and I am stubborn. Plus Brian only goes to class 3 days a week and I work 5 days a week, give a baby 95% of her nourishment, and go to school part time!!! Who deserves it more?
