#28. Cooler Weather
I live in the desert. It rarely gets below freezing in the winter. There was one year that I wore flip flops the entire year. I have a friend that would wear shorts the entire year. Yup, arizonians are nuts.
I'm really not a fan of the Arizona summers. I do like swimming and getting a tan, but I sweat like a man and am just not cut out for this kind of weather. I hate going outside. Poor Hayden gets cooped up inside when the weather is hot, which is like 9 months out of the year.
Sometime in November (or if we're lucky October or if we're UNLUCKY January) it starts to cool off. Actually right now the scorching heat is letting up. It's cooling off a little at night now although we're still getting into the 100's. Now's the time to take Hayden out and let him play some "baseball" and ride in his mercedes. The weather (especially as the sun starts to go down) is perfect.
Although I am pretty excited to pull out my boots and sweaters and cute coats, even though I will only wear them for maybe a week. They don't get a lot of wear.
Looking forward to November!!! Or January...or next winter...
